Hero Wars game UI icons for Nexters mobile RPG content cycle

The set covers amulets, armor pieces, weapon icons, ability icons, and currency/reward icons shipped into the Hero Wars inventory and shop system. Each icon holds clear silhouette read at the in-game thumbnail crop and integrates with the existing Hero Wars frame and rarity-tier system without breaking shipped UI grid alignment. Material and gem detail follow the established Hero Wars iconography bible.

We delivered each icon as a layered PSD with base shape, material pass, and rim-light groups separated. The same source supports event-variant palette swaps and seasonal restyles without ordering replacement art. Icons were authored at multiple resolutions so the assets read cleanly across resolution scaling on iOS and Android.

Pipeline ran sketch, lineart, base flats, material pass, and rim-light finishing under Nexters review at each gate. Reference came from the Hero Wars iconography bible so item silhouette, material weight, and rarity-tier visual cues match shipped icon art. We worked from the existing Hero Wars visual identity so the new icons extend the in-game read rather than introduce a parallel art track.

Working as a long-form 2D art outsourcing partner with Nexters, we held a cache of reusable shape primitives, gem and metal material presets, and rim-light overlays the team can pull into future icon runs for faster live-ops turnaround on the Hero Wars content pipeline.

Casual stylized palette with saturated jewel tones for amulets and gems, warm metal accents for armor and weapons, and soft edge treatment around silhouettes. Icon silhouettes hold clear shape at small UI crop while material and ornamentation detail surface at the larger inventory and shop screens. Rim treatment and rarity-tier glow follow the existing Hero Wars icon library to keep the new pieces consistent with shipped art.

Color rules stayed inside the Hero Wars franchise saturation range so the new icons sit cleanly alongside shipped art across the mobile RPG screens. Lighting choices favored bright key with warm rim accents that lift items against the dark RPG UI palette so inventory panels stay readable across roster and shop scenes.
