Navy Lock Back Knife PBR prop study with hard-surface hero renders

The six still renders cover hero three-quarter on the open blade, top-down spine and lock back detail, side profile in open and closed pose, bolster close-up, and a final detail render on the handle scale joinery. Each frame is lit and posed to surface a different aspect of the prop.

The asset is sized for a real-time engine drop-in so reviewers can validate silhouette, proportion, and material work against the first-person rig pose rather than offline render only.

Pipeline ran reference photo board with traditional Navy lock back knife documentation, block-out, high-poly hard-surface modeling, retopology, UV layout, bake, and Substance PBR pass with internal art-direction review at each gate. Edge bevels on the blade spine and bolster were calibrated for runtime use rather than offline render only.

The asset ships with LODs, clean UVs, baked normal and AO maps, and a calibrated Substance material set. The pipeline plugs into broader studio 2D art company deliverables for inventory icon, HUD, and crafting illustration when needed.

Realistic PBR read with a grounded collectible-knife palette: satin-finished steel blade, polished brass bolster, deep wood handle scales, and tuned rim light on edge bevels. Specular pops on the polished bolster carry visual weight without breaking the heritage-tool read.

Material rules stay in line with reference photography of issued Navy folding knives so the prop reads as a recognizable archetype across modern survival, military narrative, or collectible-display scene dressing.
