Armored Warfare gaming ads and marketing art for military free-to-play vehicles

The eight illustrations cover wishlist hero pieces, vehicle showcase shots, and promotional supporting art. Each composition leads with the tank silhouette and lets the environment do the storytelling: smoke, dust kick-up, terrain weathering, and damaged geometry frame the vehicle as the read. We held the realistic style consistent across hot fronts, urban combat, and mountain pass settings.

Crop versions were planned from day one. Steam capsule, store thumb, social square, and wide banner needs were marked on the layout before the paint pass started, so each illustration ships with safe areas reserved for logo, headline, and platform overlays without rebuilding the source art.

Pipeline ran rough composition, color key, paint over, and detail finishing pass under publisher review at each gate. Vehicle reference came from the in-game models so silhouette, gun mantle, hatch detail, and turret proportions match the playable assets. We worked from the existing Armored Warfare style bible for camo palette, decals, and weathering language across vehicle generations.

For multi-vehicle compositions we batched assets so promo cycles could ship as a coordinated set rather than a stack of unrelated illustrations. Realistic style with a subdued military palette: olive, sand, steel grey, and warm rust accents over heavy atmospheric depth. Specular pops on hatches, optics, and barrel ends carry visual weight without breaking the gritty read.
