About this Mechanic concept piece
The concept presents a single character at a tall portrait crop. Composition sets the body inside a clean three-quarter front pose with the dominant tool hand forward, which gives modelers a usable read on plate, fabric, and harness layers without requiring a second sheet. Gear callouts sit on the side margin so prop artists can pick up the wrench, satchel, and tool belt as separate reference plates.
We delivered the artwork as a layered PSD plus flattened reference render. The layered file kept linework, base color, and detail passes separate so the client could pull individual elements for marketing or restyle the harness without reopening a fresh round of art. Working as a small 2D art outsourcing partner kept turnaround tight on a single-piece deliverable.
