Hero Wars game avatars and UI elements for Nexters mobile RPG content cycle

The three pieces cover roster avatar portraits and supporting UI element art shipped into the Hero Wars character system. Avatars hold clear face read at the in-game portrait crop and integrate with the existing Hero Wars frame system without breaking shipped UI grid alignment. Costume detail and prop weight follow the established Hero Wars cast bible.

We delivered each avatar as a layered PSD with face, costume, and accessory groups separated. The same source supports event-variant palette swaps and seasonal restyles without ordering replacement art. UI element art was authored at multiple resolutions so the assets read cleanly across resolution scaling.

Pipeline ran sketch, lineart, base flats, and rendered finishing under Nexters review at each gate. Reference came from the Hero Wars cast bible so face shape, costume silhouette, and prop weight match shipped roster art. We worked from the existing Hero Wars visual identity so the new avatars extend the in-game read rather than introduce a parallel art track.

Working as a long-form 2D art company partner with Nexters, we held a cache of reusable costume parts, prop kits, and accessory overlays the team can pull into future avatar runs for faster live-ops turnaround on the Hero Wars character pipeline.

Rim treatment and contrast bracket follow the existing Hero Wars portrait library to keep the new pieces consistent with shipped roster art.

Color rules stayed inside the Hero Wars franchise saturation range so the new avatars and UI elements sit cleanly alongside shipped art across the mobile RPG screens. Lighting choices favored bright key with warm rim accents that lift the cast against the dark RPG UI palette so portrait panels stay readable across roster scenes.
